You cannot pre-order Aniimo, and that is intentional. Aniimo is a free-to-play game with no paid base version, no deluxe edition and no early-access tier. Pawprint Studio has not opened pre-orders on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, Xbox, the App Store or Google Play — there is simply nothing to buy before September 16, 2026.

If you searched for an Aniimo pre-order because you want a bonus, the free equivalent is pre-registration, which is open now and has already unlocked every global milestone reward.

Why free-to-play games skip pre-orders

Pre-orders exist to convert money before launch. A free-to-play title collects attention instead, which is why the official site's headline call to action is "Pre-Registration" rather than "Buy Now". The trade-off is straightforward for you as a player: there is no upfront cost, and there is no risk in waiting until September 16 to decide.

The Steam listing confirms the model directly. Aniimo's genre tags include Free To Play, and its feature list includes In-App Purchases. That combination tells you what to expect: free entry, with a cosmetic or convenience store inside the game. The specific contents of that store have not been announced.

What you get instead: pre-registration rewards

Pre-registration is free and takes an email address. The official site runs a global milestone ladder, and the public counter has already passed 30,039,756 registrations, so all four tiers are unlocked:

Beyond the global milestones, the official site lists a set of pre-registration welfare items: choosing your own rare Prismana Form Aniimo after becoming a Junior Wayfarer, unlocking Aniimo Accessories through the Aniilog, receiving catching items for free (Sparkling Cube, Aniipod Ultra, Tumbler), and logging in for limited Aniimo eggs — pre-registering grants a mysterious Susuta egg, with multi-day logins adding a random Perfect Egg.

Preloading: what we know

This is the one place where an honest answer is "not yet". As of August 31, 2026, Pawprint Studio has not announced preload or pre-download availability for any platform.

• Steam: no preload announced. The store page lists 45 GB of required storage, so make sure you have the space free before launch day.
• PS5 / Xbox Series: no preload announced. Console preloads are usually announced one to two weeks before release.
• Mobile: no preload announced. iOS and Android launch on September 23.

How to avoid pre-order scams

Because "Aniimo pre-order" is a high-intent search, it attracts bad listings. A few rules will keep you safe:

1. Never pay for a beta key, an early-access key or a pre-order code. The Global Closed Beta was free and limited-entry, and it has already ended.
